North Lenoir, South Lenoir, and Greene Central competed in the 33rd annual Pierce-Davis Tournament.

In one of North Carolina’s biggest wrestling events at North Pitt High, First Flight took top honors, North East Carolina Preparatory School and R.J. Reynolds rounded out the top three, and local programs Greene Central, South Lenoir, and North Lenoir recorded solid showings, including Angel Lee’s third-place finish in the girls’ 114-pound class and Bladen Davis’s fourth-place finish at 138 pounds.
