Schedule confirmation notes

C.B. Aycock tennis: the current team schedule lists individual regional Day 2 on Monday, October 19, at 1 p.m., and Orange at C.B. Aycock on Tuesday, October 20, at 4 p.m. An older version listed Orange on Monday. Confirm the revised date with the school before traveling.

South Lenoir volleyball: both team schedules now include a 7 p.m. Tuesday match at Farmville Central. A duplicate playoff-bracket entry shows a neutral site and no start time; it is counted once here, with Farmville Central hosting as the higher seed.

NCHSAA individual girls tennis state championships are October 23–24, with a 9 a.m. start listed for the championships. Local qualifiers have not yet been verified, so no player is listed as qualified here. Venues include Cary for 1A/2A, Burlington for 3A/4A and Holly Springs for 5A/6A. State tennis information.

Additional confirmations are pending for Wayne Prep volleyball, Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro), Ambleside Preparatory Academy, and the exact Swine Valley cross-country course and girls race details. Goldsboro, Rosewood and Spring Creek boys schedules each list Wednesday’s conference championship at 4 p.m. in Goldsboro. Missing listings do not establish that teams are idle or eliminated; current girls tennis, girls golf and cross-country schedules were not independently available for every covered program.

Southern Wayne has no varsity football game listed this week. Current Goldsboro and West Columbus schedules list their Friday game at 7 p.m. Spring Creek’s varsity football season was canceled; a stale October 23 listing is not included. East Columbus coverage here is football only.
