APA Tennis Advances to Round Two

A fiery start to the NCISAA playoffs, the APA Patriots stormed past Asheville Christian, extending their winning streak to five games and improving their season record to 11-2. The team’s victory was marked by standout performances, notably from undefeated senior J. Allen Smith.

Smith was in scorching form, winning both his singles and doubles matches, demonstrating his skill and consistency. His performance was a key factor in the Patriots’ success, and he continues to be a formidable force on the team.

The Patriots excelled in doubles, winning two out of three matches. This success wasn’t limited to doubles, as J. Allen, Wali Omer, and Suyesh Lamsal dominated in singles. Their swift victories in these matches were instrumental in securing the overall win for the team.

“Today’s victory was an excellent start to our playoff run,” said APA’s head coach Robert Dawson. “J. Allen’s performance was remarkable, as was the showing from Wali and Suyesh. We’re proud of the entire team and look forward to carrying this momentum forward.”
