Southern Wayne lost 4–2 at Fike on Sept. 28, falling to 4–8–1 overall and 3–2 in the Big East. The result followed an overtime defeat at Northern Nash and gave the Saints consecutive losses after their four-game winning streak.
Jacob Huerta was credited with one of Southern Wayne’s goals, Otoniel Aguilon with one assist and Javier Lujano with nine saves. Fike’s leading scorer finished with two goals and an assist. Southern Wayne produced its largest scoring total of the season with a 9–1 home victory over Rocky Mount on Sept. 21. The Saints led 5–0 at halftime and added four goals after the break, improving to 4–6–1 overall and 3–0 in the Big East.
Otoniel Aguilon was credited with two goals and three assists, and Yovanni Ruiz Baltazar added two goals. Leonel Mondragon recorded eight saves. The reported Southern Wayne totals included nine goals and nine assists; the listed leaders did not account for every scorer.

Robert Gonzalez was credited with two goals, Otoniel Aguilon supplied two assists and Leonel Mondragon recorded 11 saves. Southern Wayne’s reported team totals included four goals and four assists. South Central scored its only goal in the second half after trailing 4–0 at the break.
The Saints had now scored four goals in back-to-back matches, following their 4–3 win at Hunt. Their three-game winning streak produced a 9–4 scoring advantage and followed a seven-match winless start. Southern Wayne next hosted Rocky Mount on Sept. 21 in a return to conference play.
