In a battle that spanned three days and shifted between three locations due to intermittent rain delays, #4 seed Kinston Post 43 emerged victorious over #1 seed Wilson Post 13, winning 7-5 on Saturday.
“Working at North Lenoir has been a dream come true for the last 7 years. The former and current players have given me everything I could ever hope for as a coach,” Jackson Massey stated in his departure announcement. “With that being said, I have decided to step down and move my career in a different direction.”
