Greene County Middle School (GCMS) Rams displayed a dominant performance against Eppes Middle School, clinching a 42-0 victory. The win propels the Rams closer to a divisional title, with a key match-up against Chicod slated for next Thursday.

Kaz Farrior led the offense, scoring two touchdowns, while Cody Gaiter added another to the tally. The aerial attack saw Logan Burress connecting on a deep pass to DJ Greene, which expanded the lead. On the defensive end, Eppes Middle was restricted to less than 75 total yards. Kaz Farrior and Jaden Poole each had an interception, showcasing GC’s solid defensive strategy.

Special teams also contributed significantly, with Kaz Farrior returning a punt for a touchdown, and Dylan Williams recovering a kickoff fumble. An unexpected thrill came from Right Guard Michael Dixon, who scooped up a fumble and sprinted into the end zone for a touchdown.

Based on last week’s information, GCMS now stands at 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in conference play, as they approach their face-off against Chicod next week. A win in the upcoming game will secure a divisional title for the Rams, reflecting their strong season performance thus far.

The anticipation builds as GCMS Rams eye the divisional title, with focused preparation underway for the upcoming crucial match against Chicod.
