East of I-95 Top 92 Football Rankings Updated After Week 7

Northside-Jacksonville delivered the defining result of Week 7, routing previously unbeaten Croatan 46-11 and climbing to No. 2 in the East of I-95 Top 92. J.H. Rose remains No. 1 after a 43-0 win over South Central, while Hunt slips one spot to No. 3 during an open week.

Jacksonville also made a statement with a 47-6 victory over New Bern, moving into the Top 5. Southwest Edgecombe produced the week’s other major shakeup, beating previously unbeaten Eastern Wayne 41-6 and jumping nine places to No. 11.

Major movers after Week 7

James Kenan rises five spots to No. 13 after handing Midway its first loss, 29-22. East Bladen climbs 14 places to No. 34 following a 40-35 victory over North Duplin, while South Columbus moves up 15 spots to No. 36 after edging Fairmont 16-14. West Columbus and Pamlico County each climb 17 spots, while Heide Trask also rises 17 places to No. 66 after its 32-26 victory over South Lenoir.

The rankings weigh the full season, opponent quality, margin, head-to-head results and level of competition. First Flight and West Bladen remain permanently excluded, leaving the poll fixed at 92 eligible programs east of Interstate 95.
