Three NNS Teams Seeded in the NCHSAA Volleyball Playoffs

The NCHSAA 2A Volleyball Playoffs are set, and Neuse News Sports teams are ready for their first-round matchups on October 22, 2024. Here’s a breakdown of the East side of the bracket featuring our local teams:

• #20 seed South Lenoir (11-8 overall, 7-5 in conference) from the East Central 2A Conference will travel to face #13 seed Farmville Central (16-7 overall, 10-2 in conference) from the Eastern Plains 2A Conference. The match is set for 5:00 p.m. at Farmville Central.

• #14 seed North Lenoir (15-3 overall, 10-2 in conference) from the East Central 2A Conference will host #19 seed Heide Trask (13-8 overall, 8-4 in conference) from the Waccamaw 1A/2A Conference at 6:00 p.m.

• #27 seed Greene Central (12-12 overall, 5-7 in conference) from the Eastern Plains 2A Conference will travel to face #6 seed Roanoke Rapids (13-5 overall, 8-4 in conference) from the Big East 2A/3A Conference. The match will take place at 7:00 p.m.
