Angel Lee placed second at the NCHSAA Girls Regional Championships at South Davidson High School, becoming the first female wrestler in North Lenoir history — and the first from Lenoir County — to qualify for the NCHSAA State Championships. The state tournament will be held Feb. 19–21 in Greensboro.
La Grange Wrestling Club showcased its continued growth at the NCWAY Spartan Classic, earning multiple individual titles, a first-place high school finish, and a top-10 overall team result against 60 teams while representing four Eastern North Carolina counties.

Greene Central finished second overall at the EPC Individual Wrestling Tournament, highlighted by championship performances from Preston Hunt (175) and Steve Marquez (190) while placing five wrestlers in the finals and adding three third-place finishes.

Greene Central split its home conference match Wednesday, falling to Farmville Central 42–39 before rebounding with a 52–11 win over Tarboro.
Results were submitted by Greene Central head coach Demarcus Whitehurst.
South Lenoir wrestling completed one of its busiest stretches of the season last week, competing in three events over seven days: the Paul T. Mills Jr. Memorial Invitational, a conference dual at Pamlico County, and the East Central 3A/4A Championship. The Blue Devils logged multiple placers, six total pins in championship competition, and more than 20 individual match wins during the week.
