Strengths

These girls are hitting the ball!!! Three hitters were mentioned as top hitters, but there is more to this team than just those three. Alyssa Hatcher, Lakyn Whitely, Haley Hemby, and Kayleigh Quinerly are having great seasons so far. Most importantly, you can not talk about the Hawks’ strengths without mentioning Maddie Rouse. Rouse is the Hawks goto pitcher, power hitter, and leader.
BLUE DEVILS
Don’t let the stats fool you—these girls are well-coached and can play ball! In little tougher matchups, SL stats are down in hitting, but they can hit the ball. The Blue Devils are more battle-tested than the Hawks.
Weakness
HAWKS
Youth. At times, this has been a strength for the Hawks, but their ultimate weakness is their inexperience. This team will only get better as the season goes and they will run into some learning curves on the way.
BLUE DEVILS
Youth. It sounds like a broken record, but it’s true both these teams are young. SL has 14 players and seven of them are freshmen and sophomores. Just like the Hawks this team will get better throughout the season and will make some mistakes on the way.
