Reggie Bullock traded to the San Antonio Spurs
In a latest development in the NBA trades, the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, and Boston Celtics are finalizing a three-team trade. The details of this trade involve Kinston High School alum, Reggie Bullock, moving from the Mavericks to the Spurs. Grant Williams will head to the Mavericks while the Celtics secure multiple second-round picks.
Going into his 13th NBA season, Bullock averaged 7.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and shot 38% from three, cementing his reputation as one of the premier catch-and-shoot role players in the league. The 3&D veteran wing will bring a wealth of experience to the Spurs.
Bullock, who has one year and 10.49 million left on his contract, will become a free agent in the summer of 2024.
The Kinston, North Carolina native has a notable history in the game. During his tenure with the Kinston High Vikings, Bullock led the team to three state championship games, winning two titles - a 3A title in 2008 and a 2A title in 2010. His performance in the 2010 championship game against West Caldwell was particularly remarkable, where he was named Most Valuable Player after scoring a team-high 15 points. He boasted impressive statistics for the 2009-2010 season, with an average of 25 points and 11 rebounds per game, earning him a place in the AP All-State men's team for a third consecutive season.
