Lady Raiders Sweep Frink Middle

Woodington Middle School's Lady Raiders emerged victorious over Frink Middle School in a non-conference matchup on Monday, September 18, defeating them in straight sets (25-21, 25-16). Eliza Hawkins led the charge as the team's leading server, with the Lady Raider defense bolstering the effort.
In the B game, Frink bounced back in a contest that went to three sets. Frink edged out a win in the first set, 25-23. Woodington retaliated, taking the second set 25-23 and forcing a deciding third set. Frink ultimately claimed the third set 25-17.
The Lady Raiders will hit the road, traveling to Jones Middle School on Wednesday to kick off their conference play.
