Following suit, Maddox Smith demonstrated skill and precision to claim an 8-1 win. Austin Williams, at the third singles position, matched Smith's score with an 8-1 victory of his own. The sheer determination of North Lenoir continued with Zachary Yarus, who sealed yet another 8-1 win. The fifth and sixth singles were no different, as Jack Jones and Ahmad Zayyad concluded their matches with scores of 8-3 and 8-1, respectively.

Coach Scott Alston, pleased with the team's performance, stated, "We're right on track where we should be." Looking forward, he emphasized the importance of the upcoming matches, particularly against Clinton at home, as vital preparation for the big matchups ahead with North Johnston and Parrott Academy. Alston underscored the last half of the season as pivotal, where the Hawks will face Raleigh Charter, Greene Central, and Edenton, setting the stage for a toughened squad ready for playoff contention.
The Hawks' next encounter is set to be at their home court against Clinton, and expectations are high for this skilled and well-prepared team.
