Kinston sophomore Jamarion Washington has been a key force for the Vikings, earning this week’s Athlete of the Week honors after two standout performances. Washington scored 19 points in a dominant 72-48 win over Southwest Onslow and followed it up with 17 points in a 93-56 victory against North Lenoir.
With Kinston now sitting at 14-3 on the season, Washington’s consistent offensive production has played a vital role in the Vikings' success. His ability to score in key moments has helped Kinston remain one of the top teams in 2A basketball.
