NNS Female Athlete Of The Week
Carley Boone, a sophomore from South Lenoir High School, delivered an outstanding performance that earned her the title of Female Athlete of the Week. In a recent matchup against Southwest Onslow High School on April 12, Boone showcased her exceptional skills by going 3-for-4 at the plate, including a grand slam. Her performance also included a triple, five RBIs, and three runs scored, contributing significantly to her team's success on the field.
Off the field, Boone's pregame rituals include fueling up with her favorite snack from Chick-fil-A and getting into the competitive mindset with music from Sexy Red. She credits her favorite teammate, Callie Tyndall, for great teamwork and support. Moreover, Boone draws inspiration from her parents, whom she considers her favorite role models, reflecting the deep personal motivation and family support behind her athletic achievements.
