Down East Wood Ducks Game Postponed and Rescheduled Promotions Announced
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, the Down East Wood Ducks announced that tonight's game (April 8) has been postponed. In its place, the team will play a single-admission doubleheader on Thirsty Thursday, presented by Natural Light, on June 15th. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m., with game one starting at 5 p.m. and game two following approximately 45 minutes after the completion of the first game. One ticket will grant access to both games.
The City Edition Jersey giveaway, initially scheduled for April 8, has been moved to Saturday, July 1st, with the first 1,000 fans in attendance receiving a jersey. The 75th Celebration of Historic Grainger Stadium and the post-game Easter Egg Hunt have been rescheduled for April 22nd.
Fans holding tickets for the rained-out April 8th game can exchange them for any remaining 2023 game (excluding July 3). Ticket exchanges can be made by calling 252-686-5164 or in person at the Wood Ducks ticket office. To attend a future game, the April 8th game ticket must be exchanged, as it is no longer valid for entry.
