Chase Jones Leads Arendell Parrott Academy to Strong Start

The Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots basketball team is off to an impressive 9-2 start this season, with a trio of victories last week highlighting their momentum. The Patriots defeated Rocky Mount Academy 61-51, Wilson Christian 51-27, and Spring Creek 63-58, showcasing their ability to win in both dominant and hard-fought games.

At the heart of their success is 6'1" point guard Chase Jones, who has been a standout performer. Jones is averaging an impressive 19.5 points per game this season, consistently delivering for the Patriots on both ends of the floor.

Jones' leadership and scoring touch have earned him the honor of Athlete of the Week, sponsored by the Kinston/Lenoir Parks and Recreation Department. With his ability to control the pace of the game and come through in critical moments, Jones is proving to be a key player for the Patriots as they aim to build on their strong start.
