Kinston’s Aleah Hill Named Athlete of the Week

Kinston High School shooting guard Aleah Hill has been named Athlete of the Week, sponsored by the Kinston/Lenoir Parks and Recreation Department. The sophomore has been instrumental in her team’s red-hot 5-0 start, showcasing her versatility and dominance on both ends of the court.

Hill is averaging an impressive 15.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2 assists, 4.8 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game this season. Her standout performance came during the Montrezl Harrell Hoopfest last Saturday, where she delivered a season-high 21 points on an efficient 9-of-12 shooting, along with 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 5 steals, and a block.

With Hill leading the charge, Kinston’s girls’ basketball team looks poised for an exciting season ahead.
