APA Drops Season Opener Against Harrells
Arendell Parrott Academy (APA) opened their season on the road at Harrells Christian Academy, the only team to beat APA last year, and suffered a 47-0 loss.
"Sometimes you are the hammer, sometimes you are the nail. Tonight we were the nail. We played a bigger, faster, and stronger team tonight," said Matt Beamen, reflecting on the challenging game.
Offensively, APA was led by Jalen Solomon, who had 23 carries for 65 yards. Despite the tough loss, several players stood out on defense:
APA's Jeremy Snipes had 8 tackles
APA's Cade Mixon had 9 tackles
APA's Rylan Dickens had 10 tackles
The team will look to rebound from this defeat as they play at home against Northwest Halifax next Friday.
