South Lenoir continues to show why it’s one of the top 2A programs in the East. The Blue Devils erased a six-run deficit and surged past 3A C.B. Aycock, 12-11, on Monday night in the second game of the DBC Easter Classic at Historic Grainger Stadium.
Greene Central delivered one of its most complete performances of the season Monday night, knocking off 1A powerhouse Bear Grass Charter 7-2 at Guy Smith Park.
With playoff seeding on the line and momentum slipping, North Lenoir needed a bounce-back performance on Saturday. Instead, the Hawks fell deeper into a troubling stretch, dropping an 11-2 decision to Rosewood in the opening round of the DBC Easter Classic at Historic Grainger Stadium.
