The game, relocated to Lenoir Community College due to remodeling work on South Lenoir's bleachers, was about more than just volleyball — it was a night dedicated to raising funds in support of cancer fighters, and the Blue Devils made their community proud, bringing in more than $6,000.

The Hawks took control early, led by standout performances from middle hitter Alivia Whitley and outside hitter Lakyn Whitley. Alivia contributed six kills and three key blocks to hold down the net, while Lakyn dominated from the outside with 10 kills. Setter Alyssa Hatcher orchestrated the offense with precision, racking up 10 assists, four kills, and 15 service points to keep North Lenoir in control throughout the match. Brooklyn Payne also stepped up with 14 assists, ensuring the Hawks' attackers had plenty of opportunities to shine. Defensively, Fawn Creech stood tall for North Lenoir, tallying five blocks.

For South Lenoir, the night was about heart and resilience, both on and off the court.
