Lenoir County Schools Dominate at 74th Annual Wayne Regional Agricultural Cheerleading Competition

DUDLEY—Fresh off their victories at the Lenoir County Fair Cheerleading Competition, North Lenoir High School and Frink Middle School continued their winning streak at the 74th Annual Wayne Regional Agricultural Cheerleading Competition held last night.

Among the 18 schools that competed, five hailed from Lenoir County: North Lenoir High School, South Lenoir High School, Woodington Middle School, Frink Middle School, and Contentnea-Savannah Middle School.

In the middle school division, Lenoir County schools took all three top spots. Woodington Middle School placed third, Contentnea-Savannah Middle School took second, and Frink Middle School won first place, replicating their success from the previous night at the Lenoir County Fair.

On the high school side, South Lenoir High School secured second place, while North Lenoir High School, also fresh from a win at the Lenoir County Fair, took first place.

The strong showing from Lenoir County schools underscores the talent and dedication found in local cheerleading programs. With back-to-back wins for both North Lenoir and Frink, the schools have set a high bar for future competitions.
