Lady Rams Placed 2nd in EPC Cheer Competition
The lady Rams have dedicated their summer, fall and winter to supports Greene Centtal athletics with cheers, signs, and unconditional support. Now it is their turn to flip the switch and represent Greene Central High School.
The lady Rams did just that!
Greene Central High School's cheerleading team soared to a remarkable second-place finish in the Eastern Plain Conference Cheer Competition held this morning. Hosted by Greene Central, the event saw spirited performances from several schools including Ayden-Grifton, North Pitt, West Craven, and Farmville Central.
The Lady Rams' achievement marks a significant leap from their sixth-place position last year, demonstrating a commendable dedication to excellence and improvement. Farmville Central clinched the top spot, followed by Greene Central, with West Craven rounding out the top three. North Pitt and Ayden-Grifton secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
Coach Keyasia Willis-Tatum expressed immense pride in her team's performance. "The girls did amazing, and I am very proud of their effort and perseverance. Last year, we placed 6th, and this year's 2nd place finish shows how dedicated our team has been to improving and being one of the best at our craft," she said.
