Submitted by: Nathan Sutton
Frink's football team travelled to North Lenoir on Tuesday to take on the Cougars of CSS in the annual Swamp Bowl. Frink played a great game winning 26-16.
Offensive highlights: QB Daniel Boyette had two touchdowns. His first came on a QB keeper for the 5 yard touchdown. His second came through the air when he threw a dart to Amare Farrow for the 15 yard touchdown completion. Boyette also threw for a two point conversion. Boyette is really growing into a great quarterback. Amare Farrow had a great game, with two touchdowns, one on the ground and one receiving. Donovan Ingram finishes things off with a 45 yard rushing touchdown.
Defensive standouts: On defense, Je'Mir Pollock had a great game with 4 sacks. Lincoln Faulkner was like a mad man hitting gaps and making tackles for loss. Jamarcus Robinson, Amare Farrow, and Donovan Ingram also made big impacts on defense.
Frink is now 3-1 overall and 2-1 in conference. They host Woodington Middle School next Tuesday for their last game of the season.
