Freshmen Shine as JV Patriots Blank Eagles

In a dominant display of teamwork and skill, the JV Patriots of Arendell Parrott Academy shut down the JV Eagles of Rocky Mount Academy 34-16, allowing zero points in first three quarters. The Patriots showcased their young talent with standout performances from several freshmen.

Freshman quarterback Chase Davis led the offensive charge, throwing for 165 yards and three touchdowns. When asked about his performance, Davis humbly stated, "I just looked for the open man." Head Coach Clay Harrel had high praise for Davis, saying, "We think his future is bright in our program, with the chance to be one of the best ever to play here."

On the receiving end, freshman Blayden Pridgen led the team with 88 yards and two touchdown catches—one for 60 yards and another for 28 yards. Another freshman, Sebastian Myers, also made an impact, catching two passes for 70 yards, including a 59-yard touchdown.

The ground game was not to be overlooked, as freshman Cole Watson and backup QB Henry Sutton each contributed a rushing touchdown for the Patriots. Watson was also the leading rusher for the Patriots, racking up 47 yards, with teammate Silas Rouse right behind him with 23 yards.

With such a strong showing from their freshmen, the future looks bright for Arendell Parrott Academy's football program.
