Fresh Talent Joins Neuse News Sports

Neuse News Sports is excited to announce the addition of four new members to our growing team, each bringing unique skills and fresh perspectives to our coverage.

Jayden Willis, a recent graduate of North Carolina A&T with his bachelors in Multimedia Journalism, joins us as a sportswriter/analyst. Willis brings with him valuable experience from his internship last year with WCTI-12, where he honed his skills in sports journalism.

Ulyses Ortega, a Chowan University graduate with a degree in graphic design, will be joining as a sports photographer. Ortega is known for his fantastic sports photography, capturing the intensity and emotion of every moment on the field.

  • Brady Anderson and Gracyn Murphy are the newest student interns. Anderson, a recent Greene Central graduate heading to ECU this fall, will assist with graphic design and sports coverage. Murphy, a Varsity cheerleader at North Lenoir High School, is eager to learn more about photography. She looks forward to gaining valuable experience on the sidelines, capturing the excitement of touchdowns.

We are thrilled to welcome these talented individuals to our team as we continue to provide top-notch sports coverage in Lenoir, Greene, and Jones counties.
