MATT GRANTHAM NAMED LCC HEAD BASKETBALL COACH

The Lenoir Community College announced today the Lancers have confirmed the appointment of Matt Grantham as their new Men's Basketball Head Coach for the upcoming season. The experienced coach, who has spent his career in multiple roles across various institutions, will be leading the Lancers, bringing his extensive experience and strategic acumen to the table.

Coach Grantham is no stranger to the rigors and demands of college athletics. Over the years, he has served as Assistant Coach at several reputed institutions, including the University of Mount Olive, Queens University, NC Wesleyan College, and Catawba Valley Community College. Each of these experiences has provided him with valuable insights into team dynamics, strategic game planning, and player development, which will prove invaluable in his new role.

Moreover, Grantham isn't unfamiliar with the helm either. Before stepping into the college circuit, he was the Head Coach at Havelock High School, where he displayed his ability to guide and develop young players, an experience that will serve him well as he takes charge of the Lancers.
