The North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) has released the brackets for the 2A Men's Dual Team Tennis Championships. The competition will feature top-seeded teams from across the state, including North Lenoir and Greene Central.
The North Lenoir men's tennis team finished the regular season with an impressive 11-5 record. Eastern Wayne has a 9-4 record this season, and both teams have faced North Johnston as a mutual opponent. Eastern Wayne lost both of their matches against North Johnston with a score of 9-0, while the Hawks managed to split their matches with one win and one loss.
In another exciting matchup, the Greene Central men's team finished the season with a 12-6 record, earning them the #7 seed in the tournament. The Rams are set to host #10 seed J.F. Webb on Wednesday, May 3rd. J.F. Webb currently holds a 6-11 record and is entering the tournament on a four-game losing streak. The two teams have no common opponents this season, adding an element of unpredictability to the upcoming match.
