It was a night for the history books at Jones Senior High School as they hosted their first-ever soccer game, delivering a resounding 9-0 victory over Kinston High School.
“I felt like all the boys came together and fought hard for our coach who passed away. I felt like we made him proud!” said Malik Fuller after the game. Fuller finished with 8 rushes for 283 yards and four touchdowns.
